Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled senior software engineer with strong expertise in Python and hands-on experience in building AI-driven systems using large language models (LLMs). The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of modern AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agent-based frameworks, along with solid experience in scalable backend systems.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications using Python.
Build and optimise AI solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks.
Integrate and manage APIs and microservices architectures.
Work with vector databases for efficient data retrieval and semantic search.
Design end-to-end AI system architectures with a focus on performance and scalability.
Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in software engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, and agent-based frameworks.
Solid understanding of APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with vector databases (e. g., Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, etc. )
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
Good to Have:
Experience with AI/ML model deployment and monitoring.
Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
