Manager - Product Design

Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary product design team.
Drive strategic design decisions across multiple product streams.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to define product vision, roadmap, and execution.
Collaborate with visual designers and motion designers to create an aesthetically beautiful and delightful interface.
Translate insights, research, and business needs into intuitive product experiences.
Set and maintain a high bar for design craft, usability, and accessibility.
Build predictable processes for reviews, feedback, collaboration, and delivery.
Oversee end-to-end design from discovery to launch and iteration.
Partner closely with UX Research, Content Design, and Design System teams.
Ensure alignment with brand and platform guidelines across experiences.
Advocate for users in key decision-making spaces and represent design leadership.
Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and performance development of designers.
Requirements:
Graduate/post graduation degree in any field; MBA Operations/Retail/Management is an added advantage.
Minimum 8 years of experience in operations, supply chain, retail or FMCG; experience in tech-enabled retail formats is preferred.
Proven track record of handling P& L responsibilities and managing multi-location retail or delivery setups.
Strong data orientation with the ability to work on Excel, MIS, dashboards and operational tools.
Demonstrated success in team leadership, performance management and cross-functional collaboration.
Effective communicator with strong problem-solving skills and execution focus.
Experience in e-commerce/marketplace / B2C.
Familiarity with motion, illustration, and tools like Rive/lottie, etc.
Designed with an AI workflow is a plus.
