Associate Consultant - Operation Due Diligence

We are looking for an experienced strategy and consulting professional to join our Value Creation / Operational Due Diligence (ODD) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational due diligence, business consulting, cost optimization, financial modelling, benchmarking, and enterprise transformation.
You will work closely with global teams and clients to identify operational improvement opportunities, assess value creation initiatives, and support strategic decision-making throughout the deal lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
Perform Operational Due Diligence (ODD) engagements for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
Conduct cost optimization, operational assessments, and value creation analyses across business functions.
Develop financial models, business cases, and opportunity assessments to support strategic recommendations.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify efficiency improvements and growth opportunities.
Perform functional and competitive benchmarking to evaluate business performance.
Assess organizational structures, operating models, and value chains to recommend transformation initiatives.
Work with large and complex datasets to derive actionable business insights.
Prepare high-quality client reports, presentations, and executive-level recommendations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to deliver consulting engagements.
Support business development activities, proposal creation, and thought leadership initiatives.
Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
Required Skills: Operational Due Diligence (ODD), Business Consulting / Management Consulting, Cost Optimization, Synergy Assessment, Financial Modelling, Financial Analysis, Benchmarking, Business Transformation, Operational Excellence, Value Creation, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power BI / Alteryx / SQL / Python (preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
9 months of experience in operational due diligence, value creation, cost optimization, or strategy consulting.
Experience working on M& A, transaction advisory, or business transformation engagements.
Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and deliver client-facing presentations.
Experience handling large datasets and building data-driven insights using visualization or analytics tools is an advantage.
