About the role

We are looking for an experienced Hardware Design Engineer who can take ownership of complete hardware development, from understanding high-level design descriptions to delivering production-ready hardware. The candidate should be capable of translating concepts into detailed requirements, designing schematics, guiding PCB layout, validating hardware, and releasing documentation into the system.
Responsibilities:
Understand high-level design inputs and convert them into detailed hardware requirement specifications.
Perform end-to-end hardware design, including schematic creation.
Own the full lifecycle: requirements, design, layout, testing, and release.
Oversee PCB layout, working closely with CAD engineers.
Ensure signal integrity, EMI/EMC compliance, and manufacturability.
Perform board bring-up, debugging, and validation.
Conduct design reviews and root cause analysis.
Prepare BOM, test procedures, and reports.
Release design documentation into Windchill.
Support prototype build and production issues.
Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, SI, and manufacturing teams.
Requirements:
Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
6-10 years of experience in hardware design.
Strong analogue and digital design skills.
Experience in power supply design.
Tools: Altium / Mentor Xpedition.
Knowledge of SI basics and EMI/EMC practices.
Hands-on debugging experience with lab tools.
Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes.
Experience in documentation and release process.
Experience in the medical domain and experience with PLM tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
High-speed design (DDR, USB, PCIe, Ethernet).
Medical domain experience.
SI/PI tools exposure.
Client interaction experience.

Good communication and coordination.
Detail-oriented and process-driven.
Mentoring capability.
