Team Lead - Fund Accounting

We are looking for experienced Fund Accounting professionals with 8+ years of experience to join our investment operations team in Bangalore. The role requires strong expertise in fund accounting, NAV calculations, NAV validation, fund valuation, and investment operations, along with proven people management experience. Candidates with private equity fund accounting experience will be highly preferred. Professionals with mutual fund or hedge fund experience may also be considered if they possess strong end-to-end fund accounting expertise.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee end-to-end fund accounting activities.
Perform and review NAV calculations and NAV validation.
Support fund valuation and investment operations.
Review financial and operational data for accuracy and completeness.
Manage daily deliverables, quality, productivity, and adherence to SLAs.
Lead and mentor teams and manage performance, escalations, and workflow allocation.
Manage and resolve operational and stakeholder escalations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with defined processes, controls, and quality standards.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive operational efficiency.
Manage large-scale investment operations and ensure timely delivery of requirements.
Requirements:
8+ years of experience in fund accounting/investment operations.
Strong hands-on experience in fund accounting.
Strong experience in NAV calculation and NAV validation.
Good understanding of fund valuation and investment operations.
Private equity fund experience is highly preferred.
Candidates with mutual fund/hedge fund experience may also be considered.
Strong people management and team handling experience.
Experience managing sizeable teams is preferred.
Good understanding of different fund structures and accounting processes.
Candidates should be able to clearly explain the types of funds handled, the nature of work, the NAV calculation process, and the fund valuation methodology.
Bachelor's/Master's degree preferred.
Commerce background preferred but not mandatory.
CA/CMA qualified candidates can be considered.
Strong relevant industry experience may compensate for educational background.
