The position in discussion is with the Lean OpEx Transformation team at KGS, which is KPMG's global delivery centre and an integral part of the firm's strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability globally.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Transformation leads for KGS, BU's, Support Functional heads, and Business Owners to drive Operational Excellence.
Manage large operations transformation initiatives working closely with KGSDP Leadership team as well as global KPMG member firms.
Assess all aspects of current operating model including people, process, technology etc. as well as design and implement target operating model, working in close collaboration with the service lines.
Lead CI culture establishment to generate problem-solving and analytical mindset within teams.
Deliver tangible outcomes through OpEx projects and initiatives, driving efficient project management practices.
Collaborate within BUs / Peer experts /Global teams to maximise benefit realisation.
Create and deliver a communications plan which builds a deep and wide understanding of OpEx across the division.
Identify and grow potential OpEx internal resources and evangelists.
Increase the Pool of quality improvement Catalysts across KGS.
Requirements:
Graduate / Engineering background (Tier1 colleges, etc. )
MBA (Preferred, not mandatory).
Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
8-12+ years of overall work experience.
5+ years in independently driving transformation projects in large global organisations or with consulting firms.
Must have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 and/or leading.
Analytical skills - ability to investigate and identify underlying issues in processes.
Exposure to Quality / Operational Excellence tools and techniques.
Excellent project management and governance skills.
Should have excellent knowledge and experience of running lean projects.
Preferably have driven diverse technology-enabled solutions.
Experience of building value stream maps and ability to use Lean tools/methodology.
