Golang Developer

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer with 6-10 years of software development experience and strong expertise in Go (Golang), microservices architecture, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance backend applications and RESTful APIs while working with cloud-native technologies and modern DevOps practices.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Go (Golang).
Develop high-performance microservices following industry best practices and clean architecture principles.
Design and implement distributed systems capable of handling high traffic, low latency, and fault tolerance.
Build secure, scalable, and reusable RESTful APIs and backend services.
Develop event-driven applications using messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or NATS.
Design and optimize database schemas and queries for relational and NoSQL databases.
Implement concurrency and parallel processing using Go routines and channels.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
Implement logging, monitoring, and observability using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or OpenTelemetry.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
Work with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration.
Integrate cloud services on AWS, Azure, or GCP where required.
Ensure application security, authentication, authorization, and compliance with secure coding standards.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices and technical excellence.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimations, and release activities.
Requirements:
6-10 years of software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
Expertise in Microservices Architecture.
Strong understanding of distributed systems.
Experience building scalable REST APIs.
Strong knowledge of Go concurrency (goroutines, channels, context).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, or similar messaging platforms.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
Experience with Git and version control systems.
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
Experience working in Linux environments.
Good understanding of system design, design patterns, and OOP concepts.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
Exposure to API Gateway technologies.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Jaeger, or OpenTelemetry.
Experience in high-volume, distributed production environments.
