Interior Design Associate

Responsibilities:
Develop innovative interior design concepts aligned with client requirements and project objectives.
Create mood boards, material palettes, colour schemes, and design presentations.
Research and recommend finishes, furniture, lighting, fabrics, and dcor elements.
Ensure designs meet functionality, aesthetics, budget, and project timelines.
Presentation and Visualization Prepare high-quality client presentations and design proposals.
Create professional PowerPoint presentations and project pitch decks.
Develop detailed 2D drawings, space planning layouts, and presentation drawings.
Coordinate and review 3D visualisations, renders, and walkthroughs to ensure design accuracy.
Furniture and Material Expertise Possess strong knowledge of furniture design, ergonomics, materials, veneers, laminates, fabrics, stones, metals, and finishes.
Prepare furniture specifications and custom furniture design details.
Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers for material selection and procurement.
Client Management Conduct client meetings and understand project requirements.
Present design concepts confidently and address client feedback effectively.
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and project updates.
Project Coordination and Site Supervision Monitor project execution and ensure adherence to design intent.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
Conduct regular site visits and supervise ongoing works.
Resolve design and execution-related challenges on-site.
Ensure quality standards, timelines, and project deliverables are met.
Documentation and Reporting Prepare design documentation, BOQs, specifications, and project reports.
Maintain project records, material approvals, and design revisions.
Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements:

Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max / V-Ray (preferred), Lumion / Enscape, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
