Responsibilities:
Design and execute test strategies covering web, mobile, and backend/microservices layers.
Build and maintain automated test suites using Selenium (web) and Appium (mobile).
Develop and maintain API/microservices test automation using RestAssured.
Write Java-based automation code following strong OOP principles.
Conduct API automation and integration testing with Playwright.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and apply STLC best practices across sprints.
Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers on root-cause analysis and resolution.
Support performance testing (JMeter), network mocking/debugging (Charles/Fiddler), and CI/CD integration (Jenkins) as needed.
Requirements:
4-6 years of experience testing web, mobile, and backend applications.
Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodology.
Hands-on web automation with Selenium, mobile test automation with Appium, and API and microservices testing experience with API automation using RestAssured.
Proficiency in Java with strong OOP fundamentals.
Experience with Playwright.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear written/verbal communication for defect reporting and cross-team collaboration.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
Performance testing experience (JMeter or equivalent); network mocking/debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler); CI/CD exposure, preferably Jenkins; cloud platform exposure (AWS or Azure).
Experience level: 4-6 years, specifically in QA/SDET roles spanning web, mobile, and backend/API testing.
