Job Summary
The Program Manager collaborates with faculty and program directors to manage multiple programs and initiatives to support student experience, engagement, and external partnerships. Contributes to the development of short- and long-term plans for the unit/program(s). May utilize specialized knowledge of subject area. Recommends, implements, promotes, and evaluates program initiatives, including community outreach. Oversee program administration including student advising, recruitment, events, admissions processes, and outreach activities. Manage program logistics, maintaining comprehensive data systems for tracking and analysis, supporting program evaluation and accreditation requirements and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with program directors, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external partners to ensure program quality and goal achievement. May manage multiple technology platforms, coordinate experiential learning opportunities, and provide exceptional service to diverse constituencies while supporting institutional initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required with two to four years of professional operational experience required; experience in higher education strongly preferred.
Sound judgement, excellent interpersonal skills, proven ability to demonstrate initiative and motivation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills,
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize projects and multiple, competing priorities.
Familiarity with CRM systems, learning management systems, and survey platforms
Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness, and quality of work.
Must have a strong team-orientation and flexible approach to work.
MS Office proficiency, including SharePoint, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and research skills. Experience with Workday a plus.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
1) Academic Program Management
Manage operational activities for the academic program unit, overseeing multiple programs and initiatives that support institutional objectives.
Provide students, faculty, and the public with information, guidance and interpretation of policies and activities.
Provide oversight for development and implementation of course schedules, teaching assignments, course fees, evaluations, curriculum and catalog updates, and room usage.
Organize, oversee and support program processes including teaching assistant applications, event proposals and award processes.
Serve on school, college, and/or university committees and assist with assessment and accreditation activities
Coordinate course scheduling, registration processes, and academic operations; make recommendations to optimize process efficiency.
Manage program logistics including orientation sessions, resource centers, and communication systems
2) Data Systems and Technology Management
Develop systems to track, analyze, and report program data for diverse stakeholder purposes
Manage multiple database systems and technology platforms for comprehensive data management.
Maintain assignment and courseload data.
Ensure data integrity and compliance with institutional and accreditation requirements
Support program assessment processes and reporting requirements
3) ​ Student Recruitment and Retention
In cooperation with leadership, work to develop goals and implement strategies that enhance student recruitment and retention efforts.
Manage content maintenance for the website and social media and create and disseminate marketing materials.
Support development and implementation of new degree programs
Plan and lead recruiting and orientation activities ; created detailed event plans and manage event logistics
Provide coordination for graduate programs to include prospective student inquiries, applications and admissions, and progress towards graduation.

Expected Hiring Range:
$53,615.00 - $75,728.75
With the pay range(s) shown above, the starting salary will depend on several factors, which may include your education, experience, location, knowledge and expertise, and skills as well as a pay comparison to similarly-situated employees already in the role. Salary ranges are reviewed regularly and are subject to change.
