Head - Agribusiness

To lead and scale Adani Agri Business by driving profitable growth across sourcing, procurement, supply chain, market development, digital agriculture initiatives, value-added agri products, and strategic partnerships. The role will be responsible for business strategy, P&L management, farmer ecosystem development, market expansion, operational excellence, and long-term value creation for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. . Business Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute the overall business strategy for the Agri vertical.
Identify new growth opportunities across domestic and international markets.
Drive business expansion through new products, geographies, and channels.
Build long-term roadmaps for sustainable business growth.
2. P&L Management
Own end-to-end profitability and financial performance of the business.
Monitor revenue, EBITDA, cost optimization, and working capital efficiency.
Ensure achievement of annual business plans and growth targets.
3. Procurement & Supply Chain Excellence
Lead sourcing and procurement strategies for agricultural commodities and products.
Strengthen supplier, farmer, FPO, and aggregator networks.
Ensure efficient supply chain operations, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
4. Market Development & Sales
Develop robust go-to-market strategies across B2B, B2C, institutional, and export channels.
Drive customer acquisition and market penetration.
Establish strategic partnerships with retailers, distributors, and large institutional buyers.
5. Farmer Ecosystem Development
Build strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, cooperatives, and agricultural institutions.
Promote sustainable farming practices and productivity enhancement initiatives.
Develop programs to improve farmer engagement and sourcing reliability.
6. Digital Agriculture & Innovation
Drive digital transformation initiatives across sourcing, procurement, and farmer engagement platforms.
Leverage technology, analytics, AI, and digital marketplaces to improve efficiency and transparency.
Evaluate emerging agritech opportunities and partnerships.
7. Risk Management & Compliance
Manage commodity price risks and supply disruptions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, quality, and sustainability standards.
Implement robust governance and control mechanisms.
8. Sustainability & ESG
Champion sustainability initiatives across the value chain.
Drive responsible sourcing, environmental stewardship, and stakeholder engagement.
Align business operations with Adani Group sustainability objectives.
9. Leadership & Team Development
Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Develop future leadership pipeline within the business.
