The HR Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end human resources function across Hiyara's Bangalore and Mumbai offices. This includes talent acquisition, employee lifecycle management, HR policy implementation, compliance, performance management, and fostering a positive workplace culture. The role requires frequent travel between offices and occasional inter-city travel for HR initiatives, audits, hiring drives, and leadership engagements.
The core responsibilities for the job include the following:
Talent Acquisition and Workforce Planning:
Lead end-to-end recruitment across both Bangalore and Mumbai offices from JD creation to onboarding.
Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and develop talent pipelines.
Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job portals, and campus placement partners.
Conduct structured interviews and assessment processes, and offer negotiations.
Drive employer branding initiatives to attract quality talent.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Oversee seamless onboarding, induction programs, and probation reviews for new joiners.
Manage employee records, HRIS data, and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
Administer performance appraisal cycles, goal-setting frameworks (OKR/KRA), and increment processes.
Handle employee exits, conduct structured exit interviews, and analyze attrition trends.
Facilitate employee engagement surveys, action planning, and pulse checks.
HR Policy, Compliance, and Statutory Requirements:
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, including PF, ESIC, Gratuity, the Shops and Establishments Act, and POSH.
Review, update, and implement HR policies, the employee handbook, and SOPs.
Liaise with legal and finance teams for payroll inputs, audits, and statutory filings.
Conduct regular HR audits across both locations to ensure process adherence.
Employee Relations and Culture:
Serve as the primary HR point of contact for employees across Bangalore and Mumbai.
Handle grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary matters with fairness and confidentiality.
Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives and POSH committee activities.
Plan and execute employee engagement events, R& R programs, and team-building activities.
Champion a positive, high-performance workplace culture aligned with company values.
Learning and Development:
Identify training needs through TNI exercises and performance data.
Design and deploy L& D programs, leadership development tracks, and skill-building workshops.
Coordinate with external trainers, e-learning platforms, and internal subject matter experts.
Track training effectiveness and ROI through measurable outcomes.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
Maintain and present HR dashboards covering headcount, attrition, cost-per-hire, and engagement metrics.
Generate periodic MIS reports for leadership review.
Use data insights to recommend HR interventions and strategic decisions.
Requirements:
MBA / PGDM in Human Resources Management from a recognized institution (preferred).
4 to 6 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or lead HR role.
Hands-on experience managing HR functions across multiple office locations.
Strong knowledge of Indian labor law, statutory compliance, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e. g., Darwinbox, Keka, GreytHR, Zoho People) and MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated experience in full-cycle recruitment across technical and non-technical roles.
Exposure to POSH implementation and committee management is mandatory.
Experience in a technology, startup, or fast-paced corporate environment is preferred.
