QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in both Manual and Automation Testing, with a greater focus on automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive test planning, execution, and automation framework development. The role requires close collaboration with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality applications.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications and APIs.
Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure application quality and reliability.
Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
Identify, track, and verify defects while collaborating with development teams for resolution.
Perform regression, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
4-5 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation).
Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Node.js, or JavaScript.
Experience in API Testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Nice to Have:
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Exposure to performance or security testing.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and modern DevOps practices.
