Engineering Manager

We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented product engineers delivering these groundbreaking software solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to build intuitive solutions that transform how clients experience AI and ML in the application and elevate their interaction with financial data.
Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of full-stack engineers, fostering innovation and a strong sense of ownership.
Design and deliver secure, event-driven AI applications that provide responsive, impactful chat experiences powered by LLMs.
Build scalable and resilient systems with a focus on safety, privacy, and real-time performance.
Drive engineering excellence through streamlined development processes, high-quality code, and product development expertise.
Collaborate across Addepar with product managers, UX designers, content designers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless, AI-powered client experiences.
Requirements:
Strong experience with JavaScript, related libraries, and frameworks will be required.
Minimum 10+ years of experience in software engineering or data science.
Minimum 2+ years of experience managing teams effectively.
Experience in software development or data science.
Ideally, we need a fullstack hands-on engineering manager (60% Frontend engineering work, 40% Backend engineering work).
Experience with streaming data platforms and event-driven architecture.
You are a curious and hardworking engineer or data scientist with experience in shipping scalable solutions.
A great communicator is adept at working with cross-functional partners.
You value developing people and coaching engineers to succeed.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud deployment.
Ideally, someone who has worked very closely with AI/ML or Data Science teams will be highly preferred OR worked in AI/ML engineering teams.
