As a Product Manager at Aftershoot, you will drive the evolution of our AI-powered creative products. You will work across new initiatives and existing platforms, shaping product strategy, improving user experience, and delivering meaningful value to photographers and creators worldwide. This role is suited for someone who can balance innovation with iteration and who enjoys working on products at different stages of maturity.
Responsibilities:
Own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for one or more Aftershoot products or product areas.
Work across both new feature development and continuous improvement of existing products.
Deeply understand user workflows, pain points, and motivations, particularly within creative and editing tools.
Identify opportunities to differentiate Aftershoot while ensuring essential functionality meets user expectations.
Partner closely with design and engineering to define requirements, ship features, and iterate based on feedback.
Collaborate with marketing and growth teams on launches, positioning, and go-to-market plans.
Drive product adoption, engagement, and retention through thoughtful experimentation and iteration.
Balance the needs of new users with those of existing customers, ensuring smooth product evolution.
Use qualitative insights and quantitative data to inform prioritisation and decision-making.
Requirements:
3 to 8 years of experience in product management.
Startup or high-growth environment experience is a plus.
Strong user-first mindset with deep empathy for creative professionals.
Ability to translate complex problems into clear, actionable product plans.
Comfort operating in ambiguity and making informed tradeoffs.
Strong analytical thinking with experience using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, PostHog, or similar.
Ability to work with data using SQL or equivalent tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with design, engineering, marketing, and leadership.
Experience in B2C SaaS.
Familiarity with creative tools, editing software, or creator-focused platforms.
Entrepreneurial experience or having built products or side projects.
