We are looking for a Founding - Head of Engineering who can build the product and the engineering organization from the ground up. This is not a manager-only role. You will be: Architect, Builder, Team leader, Technical decision maker, and Culture setter. You will own engineering end-to-end, from product architecture to shipping velocity, from hiring to scalability.
Your responsibilities will be across the following functions:
Own Product Architecture:
Design scalable, AI-first system architecture.
Build distributed systems that support real-time marketing workflows.
Make decisions on stack, infra, LLM usage, vector DB, agent orchestration, etc.
Ensure performance, reliability, and security from day one.
Build and Ship Fast:
Work hands-on in the early days (code daily).
Ship MVP features rapidly.
Balance speed vs. scalability intelligently.
Drive strong engineering execution discipline.
Build and Lead the Engineering Team:
Hire high-quality engineers (backend, frontend, AI/ML, infra).
Create a high-ownership engineering culture.
Define coding standards, review processes, and quality benchmarks.
Mentor and level up the team.
AI and Automation Focus:
Build AI-driven workflows (LLMs, agents, prompt systems).
Optimize inference cost vs. performance.
Build internal tooling for experimentation and evaluation.
Stay updated with the evolving AI ecosystem.
Work Closely with Founders:
Translate product vision into technical roadmap.
Participate in product thinking.
Drive strategic technical decisions.
Act as a long-term technology partner.
Requirements:
8-15+ years of engineering experience.
Experience building and scaling products from 0 to 1
Strong backend architecture experience (Node.js / Python preferred).
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Deep understanding of system design and distributed systems.
Prior experience leading engineering teams.
High ownership mindset.
Comfortable working in ambiguity.
Strong Plus:
Experience building AI/LLM-based systems.
Experience with marketing tech / ad-tech / mar-tech.
Startup experience (Series A or earlier).
Experience with real-time data systems.
Experience building internal AI agents/automation frameworks.
