Hilton Bali Resort - MICE Sales Manager

The Sales Manager assists the Director of Sales in leading and supervising the Sales Team. He / she oversees and directs all aspects of the negotiation and coordination process as well as the successful handling of Corporate / M.I.C.E. / Social / Tour & Travel events as assigned. This role leads the Sales team to ensure smooth operation of the department to maximize business opportunities and deliver the highest service standards.
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in international hotel chains.
• Good English and Chinese reading and writing skills to meet business needs.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work under strong pressure.
• Understand local customers and have strong market analysis ability.
• Have certain customer resources.
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for performing the following duties to the highest standards:
Achieve hotel sales targets and revenue goals across rooms, catering, banquets, and other hotel products.
Develop and execute sales plans in alignment with the hotel’s commercial strategy and business objectives.
Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
Conduct sales activities including client visits, telephone calls, hotel presentations, site inspections, and customer events.
Prepare quotations and contracts, follow up on business opportunities, and ensure timely conversion into confirmed business.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information and communicate customer needs and feedback to relevant departments.
Maintain strong knowledge of hotel products, competitors, market trends, and business opportunities.
Proactively identify new markets, accounts, and revenue opportunities and share market intelligence with the Commercial team.
Coordinate effectively with Operations and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of meetings, events, and guest requirements.
Welcome and assist key customers, VIPs, and business partners during their hotel visits and events.
Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up.
Forecast and maximize sales and banquet revenue while monitoring business performance against targets.
Support the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities.
Coach, motivate, and develop Sales team members to achieve individual and team objectives.
Promote other Hilton properties and cross-selling opportunities within the Hilton portfolio.
Complete required Hilton University courses and other assigned training promptly.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Sales / Commercial Director.
