Requirements:
Ability to balance conflicting interests in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and application design, with at least 2+ years in an architect or senior technical leadership role on large-scale SaaS platforms.
Strong expertise in the Microsoft. NET platform, building and delivering scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using microservices architecture, REST/gRPC APIs, and distributed system design patterns.
Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable).
Strong understanding of data modelling, relational and NoSQL databases, and designing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
Proven experience implementing secure applications on Azure, including Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, Managed Identities, Azure Key Vault, API Management (APIM), WAF, NSGs, private endpoints, and adherence to OWASP Top 10 and secure SDLC practices.
Experience ensuring data protection and compliance, including encryption in transit and at rest, data masking/anonymisation, and securing sensitive data (e. g., PHI), storage, and backups.
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile/SDLC) with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, prioritisation, and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional, global environments.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Knowledge of additional cloud platforms, such as AWS or GCP, is a plus.
Relevant professional certifications (e. g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Kubernetes, or cloud certifications) are a plus.
Experience in the healthcare domain, including familiarity with HIPAA, HL7 or FHIR standards, is preferred.
Experience working in product-based or SaaS organisations.
Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security-focused engineering.
Experience with event-driven architecture or streaming platforms (e. g., Kafka).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
