The Role
As a Senior Technical Project Manager at Vymo, you will lead our most complex, high-value implementations for global financial institutions. You are the strategic face of Vymo to client leadership. You combine strong technical context with client empathy to turn complex requirements into smooth, on-time go-lives.
What You Will Do
Client Delight & Ownership: Own the full onboarding lifecycle for Tier-1 global accounts from discovery to go-live. Serve as the primary, trusted partner for client business and IT executives.Technical & Integration Governance: Lead discovery on data flows, APIs, and middleware. Spot and resolve technical risks early in complex, regulated BFSI environments.Agile Execution & Control: Run sprint cycles tied directly to business milestones. Owning scope, timeline, and change requests while enforcing strict engineering and security standards.Launch & Hypercare: Drive go-live readiness, code freeze, and deployment runbooks. Lead post-launch hypercare, incident triage, and root cause analysis (RCA) to protect production stability.Leadership: Mentor junior project managers and refine Vymo’s global delivery playbook to scale best practices.
What You Will Bring
Experience and Fluency
Industry Experience: 8–12 years of Technical Project Management experience, with at least 5+ years in a B2B SaaS product company.Domain Expertise: Proven track record of managing product implementations within the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.Global Delivery: Demonstrated experience delivering implementations for US-based enterprise clients while collaborating with India-based Engineering and Product teams.Technical Depth: Ability to evaluate APIs, data flows, and middleware architecture from a delivery lens without needing an engineer to translate.Agile Mastery: Advanced operational knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA execution. PMP, CSM, or equivalent certifications are a major advantage.Enterprise Execution: Experience managing multi-stream technical projects with complex client integrations.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate complex technical constraints into business value for executive stakeholders.
