Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. You will be responsible to lead projects, enhance performance, and increase customer satisfaction.
As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:
Leading cross-functional teams Engineering, Product Management, Network Operations, Sales, Services, and Support to support the product roadmap
Managing and mitigating risks and developing contingency plans
Maintaining and communicating backlog of work with key stakeholders, guiding them on priorities based on business needs
Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders with appropriate frequency, using standardized methods
Maintaining and iterating on a roadmap of committed work through the current calendar
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 5 years of relevant experience and a High School / Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
Demonstrate experience working within a technical team and a good understanding of the software development life cycle
Be experience with JIRA and Confluence
Be experience with Internet technologies or protocols such as DNS, HTTP, TCP/IP
Be able to analyze workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders of varying technical ability.
Have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituencies
