This role ensures strong technical alignment between Global Engineering teams in the US, Asia, Israel, and regional manufacturing partners. Networking is a critical component of every NVIDIA AI factory and cloud deployment. As part of the NVIDIA Product Engineering group dedicated to Boards and Systems Manufacturing, you will play a key role in enabling successful NPI ramps, manufacturing scalability, yield improvement, and operational excellence for NVIDIA networking products. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to work directly with NVIDIA's brand-new AI infrastructure technologies and influence manufacturing success from development through high-volume production.
Your primary responsibility is to act as the on-site manufacturing technical lead for Networking products in Guadalajara, Mexico. You will work directly on the factory floor to improve factory preparedness, NPI execution, improving yield, and technical issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle. This highly visible role requires close engagement with Contract Manufacturer (CM) groups, vendors, and NVIDIA engineering teams to ensure successful product ramps and sustained production performance.
Work Location
Full-time on-site position at the manufacturing factory in Mexico.
Frequent presence on the manufacturing floor is required to support NPI activities, production ramps, issue triage, failure analysis, process optimization, and day-to-day factory execution.
Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally, to support engineering alignment, supplier engagement, qualification activities, and product launches.
What You'll Be Doing:
Serve as the primary technical liaison between NVIDIA, Contract Manufacturers, and suppliers supporting Networking products made in Mexico.
Lead NPI readiness, factory qualification, and NPI-to-MP transitions to ensure manufacturing readiness and production success.
Provide hands-on factory support to drive efficient execution of NPI and mass-production builds while rapidly resolving manufacturing issues.
Lead root-cause analysis and technical closure of manufacturing, yield, quality, reliability, and test-related challenges.
Analyze manufacturing data, yield trends, reliability metrics, and benchmarks to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
Drive factory readiness reviews, benchmark assessments, and resolution of partner concerns for critical production, quality, material, and capacity issues.
Partner with multi-functional teams to improve DFM, DFT, process optimization, engineering change implementation, and manufacturing risk mitigation.
Provide technical leadership through dashboards, continuous improvement initiatives, mentorship, and collaboration across global teams, suppliers, and CMs.
What We Need To See:
Master's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, mechanical development, computer engineering, production engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and industry experience will be considered.
8+ years of experience in Product Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or related fields supporting NPI and high-volume production environments.
Deep expertise in board and system manufacturing, including process control, yield improvement, testing, failure analysis, reliability engineering, and factory operations.
Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex technical and cross-functional manufacturing challenges using data-driven approaches.
Excellent communication, influence, and technical leadership skills, with the ability to align global engineering, operations, quality, and supplier teams without direct authority.
