Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Key Account Manager role based in Chennai. The Key Account Manager will manage and grow relationships with strategic customers, focusing on retention, cross-selling, and upselling financial products and services. Responsibilities include developing account plans, tracking performance against targets, and coordinating with internal teams such as credit, operations, and collections to ensure smooth service delivery. The role involves regular customer meetings, resolving issues promptly, identifying new business opportunities, and providing accurate forecasts and reports to leadership. The Key Account Manager will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine strategies and support overall business growth in the region.
Qualifications
Strong Account Management and Key Accounts skills to handle strategic customer portfolios and long-term relationships.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills and Business Planning capabilities to interpret data, set goals, and drive account-level strategies.
Proven Customer Service mindset with the ability to address customer needs, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels.
Experience in financial services, lending, or banking, preferably in vehicle, tractor, or SME financing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet business targets in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Familiarity with local market dynamics in Chennai and surrounding regions, and proficiency in relevant regional languages is beneficial.
