Role Description The Relationship Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. In this role, the individual will manage and grow customer relationships, ensuring high-quality service and support across banking products and services. Daily responsibilities include engaging with customers to understand their financial needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and assisting with account opening, transactions, and product inquiries. The Relationship Officer will work closely with the branch team to achieve sales and service targets, follow bank policies and regulatory guidelines, and maintain accurate records of customer interactions. The role also involves proactive outreach to existing and potential customers to enhance loyalty, drive cross-selling opportunities, and contribute to the overall performance of the branch.
Qualifications
Strong Business Relationship Management and Customer Service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
Knowledge of Finance and banking products, with the capability to understand customer requirements and offer suitable financial solutions.
Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening in customer interactions.
Sales skills to identify opportunities, promote bank offerings, and meet assigned sales and cross-selling targets.
Relevant experience in retail banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is desirable.
Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate with branch teams, and adhere to regulatory and compliance standards.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with basic computer and banking systems.
