The Learning & Development Intern plays a vital support role for the L&D Officer, taking primary responsibility for administrative tasks, logistics, and basic coordination. This role ensures that all groundwork and preparation for training, orientation, and recognition programs run smoothly and in line with brand standards, allowing the L&D Officer to focus on strategic planning, needs analysis, and training delivery.
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
Availability: Able to commit to a full-time internship for at least 6 months.
Education: Senior student or fresh graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Hospitality/Tourism Management, English Language, or a related field.
Language: Good command of written and spoken English to meet business needs (as you will work in an international hotel environment). Knowledge of Chinese is a strong advantage.
Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Familiarity with basic design tools (like Canva) to create posters and internal announcements is highly preferred.
Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and careful (crucial for maintaining accurate training records).
Attitude: Proactive, good communication skills, strong service mindset, and a genuine passion for Learning & Development / HR.

What will I be doing?
Logistics & Training Coordination:
Classroom Setup: Assist in the preparation and breakdown of training venues (arranging tables/chairs, setting up projectors, audio systems, and teabreaks) to ensure a clean and professional learning environment.
Orientation Support: Assist in managing the planning and delivery of orientation programs. Prepare Welcome Kits, name tags, and training materials. Assist in welcoming and guiding new team members on their first day.
Internal Communication: Design basic materials (using Canva/PowerPoint), print, and regularly update the training notice board with all relevant training information. Send out email reminders for upcoming training sessions to various departments.
