Position description: Join Jindal Stainless Limited as a key contributor within our Mines department, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing mining operations that support our stainless steel production. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization, implement innovative mining techniques, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a deep understanding of mining engineering principles, operational management, and regulatory frameworks specific to the mining and metals industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily mining operations to ensure optimal extraction and processing of raw materials.
Develop and implement mining strategies that align with production targets and company sustainability objectives.
Ensure strict compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations and company policies within the mining sites.
Monitor and analyze mining performance metrics to identify areas for operational improvement and cost reduction.
Lead and mentor mining teams, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous learning.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality control departments to enhance mining processes and equipment reliability.
Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and procurement activities related to mining operations.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management on mining activities, challenges, and progress.
