Primary Responsibilities:
To lead and govern HSE operations across the assigned area, ensuring a strong safety culture, zero‑harm mindset, statutory compliance, and effective implementation of OMS HSE frameworks across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and drive area‑level HSE strategy, governance, and execution for OMS operations.
Implement OMS HSE policies, standards, and procedures across all sites in the area.
Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, customer, and regulatory HSE requirements.
Conduct and oversee HSE audits, inspections, and risk assessments across sites.
Lead incident management, investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Monitor and improve safety KPIs, incident trends, and risk mitigation plans.
Provide leadership and guidance to Site / State HSE Incharges.
Drive contractor safety management, induction, and compliance.
Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, HR, and Customers on HSE matters.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives, safety campaigns, and behavioural safety programs.
Education & Experience
Degree / Diploma in Engineering / Environmental Science / Safety Management.
NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA or equivalent certification preferred.
12–15 years of experience in HSE leadership, preferably in OMS / Wind / Renewable Energy / Infrastructure.
Experience handling multi‑site / area‑level operations is essential.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of HSE laws, statutory compliance, and audit frameworks.
Leadership capability to drive safety culture across dispersed teams.
Excellent incident response, risk management, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong stakeholder, contractor, and customer interaction abilities.
High level of documentation, reporting, and governance orientation.
