Solution Architect – Data Engineering (Snowflake & AWS)
Job Location: Bangalore
A hands-on Solution Architect with deep expertise in Snowflake, AWS, Data Engineering, and Analytics, capable of designing scalable, secure, and business-focused data platforms while providing strong technical leadership and governance across enterprise transformation programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Define end-to-end architectures for data platforms, analytics, and reporting solutions.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
Establish architecture standards, reusable patterns, and governance frameworks.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical leadership throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Data Engineering & Analytics
Design modern Data Lake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric architectures.
Architect batch and real-time data ingestion, transformation, and processing pipelines.
Define enterprise data integration, modelling, and data-sharing strategies.
Drive cloud migration and legacy data platform modernisation initiatives.
Cloud & Platform Architecture
Design cloud-native solutions using Snowflake and AWS.
Architect solutions leveraging:
Snowflake
Amazon S3
AWS Glue
Redshift
EMR
Lake Formation
Lambda
IAM
Kinesis
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, disaster recovery, and cost optimisation.
Data Governance & Security
Define data governance frameworks covering ownership, metadata, lineage, data quality, and access management.
Implement security controls including RBAC, encryption, masking, audit, and compliance standards.
Design secure data-sharing architectures across business units, customers, and partners.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead architects, engineers, and cross-functional delivery teams.
Mentor technical teams and drive adoption of engineering best practices.
Facilitate architecture workshops and solution design sessions.
Support pre-sales, solution estimation, proposals, and client presentations.
