Summary:
As a Data Engineer, a typical day involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions that support the generation, collection, and processing of data. The role requires creating efficient data pipelines and ensuring the integrity and quality of data throughout its lifecycle. You will be responsible for implementing processes that enable smooth migration and deployment of data across various systems, collaborating with different teams to support organizational data needs and optimize data workflows.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to identify and resolve data-related challenges to improve system performance and reliability.
Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills and understanding of data engineering practices.
Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to align data strategies with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Data Engineering.
Experience with designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
Strong knowledge of data storage solutions, including relational and non-relational databases.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and data orchestration tools to automate workflows.
Ability to optimize data processing for performance and cost efficiency.
Understanding of data quality frameworks and best practices for data governance.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 8 years of experience in Data Engineering.
This position is based at our BDC11 - SEZ office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
