Role Summary
You will join Arvind Limited — Essentials as Dy. Manager - Machine Mech in the General Management department, working onsite in a core garmenting setup.
The role focuses on supporting machine maintenance and mechanical reliability for sewing machines and high-tech garmenting machines.
You will help ensure equipment uptime, safe operations, and production continuity through preventive and corrective maintenance support.
This role is suited to an experienced professional with hands-on exposure to garmenting machinery and a practical approach to day-to-day machine support.
Key Responsibilities
Support the upkeep and smooth functioning of sewing machines and high-tech garmenting machines across the assigned area.
Plan and execute preventive maintenance activities to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment availability.
Attend corrective maintenance issues, diagnose mechanical faults, and restore machines to service in a timely manner.
Coordinate with production and related teams to minimize downtime and support uninterrupted garmenting operations.
Monitor machine condition, identify recurring issues, and recommend practical improvements for reliability.
Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and inspection documentation with accuracy and discipline.
Follow safety, quality, and maintenance standards while ensuring compliance with site procedures.
Support troubleshooting during operational issues and contribute to continuous improvement in machine performance.
