Role Summary
The SAP Fieldglass SOW Management SME is responsible for supporting end-to-end Statement of Work (SOW) operations within SAP Fieldglass, including SOW administration, drafting support, milestone management, invoice resolution, compliance governance, and stakeholder support. The role serves as a functional expert, ensuring accurate and timely execution of SOW engagements while maintaining adherence to procurement policies, contractual obligations, and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
SOW Lifecycle Management
Execute end-to-end SOW lifecycle activities, including creation, amendments, renewals, extensions, change orders, budget modifications, and closures.
Review SOW requests for completeness, compliance, and policy adherence.
Validate scope, deliverables, timelines, commercial terms, funding allocations, and resource requirements.
Ensure timely processing of SOW transactions within established SLAs.
Maintain accurate documentation, approvals, and audit trails within SAP Fieldglass.
Support resolution of complex SOW-related operational issues and escalations.
SOW Drafting & Governance Support
Support stakeholders in drafting and reviewing Statements of Work.
Validate deliverables, milestones, payment schedules, acceptance criteria, and commercial terms.
Ensure alignment with Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and procurement governance requirements.
Identify documentation gaps and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain required information.
Promote consistency and adherence to SOW templates and standards.
Milestone Management
Monitor milestone planning, tracking, validation, approval, and closure activities.
Review milestone submissions and supporting documentation.
Validate milestone completion against agreed deliverables and acceptance criteria.
Track milestone performance against timelines and contractual commitments.
Escalate milestone delays, delivery risks, and approval bottlenecks.
Ensure milestone approvals support invoice processing and payment activities.
Generate milestone status reports and operational insights.
Invoice Management & Resolution
Review and validate invoices against approved SOWs, milestones, funding limits, and contractual terms.
Investigate invoice discrepancies, payment exceptions, and billing disputes.
Partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Suppliers, and Business Stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
Monitor invoice aging and follow through to closure.
Support invoice approvals and compliance reviews.
Assist with reconciliation, audit requests, and financial reporting activities.
Stakeholder Support & SME Advisory
Serve as the SAP Fieldglass SME for SOW operations and services procurement processes.
Provide guidance on workflows, approvals, milestone governance, and invoicing requirements.
Support operational escalations and issue resolution.
Deliver process walkthroughs, training support, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Maintain SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge repositories.
Compliance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and audit requirements.
Support internal and external audit activities.
Monitor KPIs including:
SOW Processing Accuracy
SLA Adherence
Milestone Completion Rate
Invoice Resolution Turnaround Time
Compliance Scores
Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues.
Support process automation and SAP Fieldglass enhancement initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement and standardization efforts.

3-5 years of hands-on SAP Fieldglass Services Procurement / SOW Management experience.
