We're hiring on behalf of Recro for a long-term engagement with 21shares, a leading global digital asset investment company. You'll build cloud-native, scalable financial products at the crossroads of fintech and crypto full-stack ownership across a modern Node.js/TypeScript/React stack, in a fast-moving product engineering setup.
Responsibilities:
Build backend services and frontend applications powering real digital asset investment products.
Work with Kafka-driven, event-based architecture at production scale.
Ship through Docker/Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure on AWS.
Fast-paced, Agile, product-first environment, not a services bench.
Requirements:
4-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong hands-on skills in Node.js, TypeScript, and React.js.
Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Kafka or equivalent event-driven messaging experience.
Docker and containerised deployment experience.
AWS or similar cloud platform experience.
Strong grip on clean code, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
Good to have:
Fintech, financial services, capital markets, or product startup background.
Crypto or digital assets interest/exposure.
Kubernetes in production.
Familiarity with AI-assisted developer tools.
