The Risk team is seeking a proactive, risk-minded professional to help drive efforts to formalize a firmwide insider trust program. This program will develop a coordinated approach to identifying and managing insider risks by connecting various insider risk activities that are performed across the firm and developing a centralized governance structure and technology strategy / data correlation focused on data loss, IP theft, fraud, workplace violence indicators, sabotage, and policy violations. Reporting to the Head of HR Risk & Compliance and Insider Trust, this position will drive a risk-based operating model that balances employee privacy, legal obligations and business enablement.

15+ years’ industry experience in Risk Management, Insider Risk, Technology, Security, Cybersecurity, Audit, or other related areas
Proven leadership and experience leading large firmwide programs required
Strong understanding of data protection, privacy, regulatory, and workforce monitoring considerations
Exceptional strategic thinking and executive‑level communication skills, with the ability to convey complex issues clearly to diverse audiences

The Value You Deliver
Shape the strategic direction, governance model, and long-term maturity of our Insider Trust Program
Ensure alignment across security, HR, legal/privacy, compliance, technology, and business operations to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to data loss, intellectual property theft, fraud, misuse of systems, and other harmful internal behaviors
Support daily Insider Trust Program efforts, including development and documentation of use cases, playbooks, workflows, and response—while driving risk assessments and defining critical metrics, dashboards, and reporting
Work with technology partners to bring together insider risk data points from across the firm to mitigate risk
Operationalize high-value asset protection for source code, trade secrets, sensitive customer/employee data and critical systems
Partner with HR, Legal, IT, and Security to enhance controls, improve detection, and support insider‑risk evaluations
The Team
Our team is part of the broader Risk organization that supports Corporate Services, Fidelity’s Fund and Investment Operations, Global Site business lines, and Enterprise Resiliency and Crisis Management. More broadly, it sits within the Fidelity Risk Group, which brings together the major Risk functions across the enterprise and leverages a wide range of risk management programs and capabilities. At the core of the Risk Group’s mission is close partnership with teams across the Firm—including Business Leaders, Legal, Compliance, Audit, and Security—to protect the Firm, its associates, and its customers.
