Senior Software Engineer — Integrations
Remote | Mexico
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our Integrations team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that connect our K.Motion Warehouse Edge platform with Enterprise Resource Planning systems, carrier services, and trading partners. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable integration software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Development Excellence
Design, develop, and maintain integration services connecting WMS to ERP systems, carriers, and trading partners
Develop a thorough understanding of the product architecture and integration patterns within 9-12 months
Independently, and with your squad, design and develop feature enhancements and resolve bugs
Ensure that products developed are of high quality and completed on time
Deliver in line with project committed metrics on Velocity, Quality, and Accuracy of Estimates
Technical Direction
Serve as the guardian for your squad's code, processes, and best practices
Identify gaps and propose enhancements in the integration architecture
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in integration approaches
Stay up to date on new technologies and development practices
Process Improvement
Constantly improve methods of product development to increase productivity and quality
Share ideas for process, workflow, and continuous improvement initiatives
Understand and follow all team processes while actively suggesting improvements
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders across the organization
Communicate clearly to understand requirements and align solutions with organizational goals
Produce high-quality technical documentation, code demos, and concise written communications
Participate in the Agile process
QUALIFICATIONSRequired
3+ years of experience in C# .NET development
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
2+ years of experience in an Agile development environment
Proven track record of delivering high-quality, commercial software
Experience mentoring or guiding more junior team members
Demonstrated ability to articulate major technical problems and corresponding solutions
Spoken and written English
Preferred
1+ years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or ERP integration domains
Experience in integration/middleware development connecting enterprise systems
TECHNICAL SKILLSRequired
C# and .NET Framework 4.8 — strong working knowledge
JavaScript — strong working knowledge
OData/REST APIs including Swagger/OpenAPI — proficiency in creating and consuming
WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) — service development and consumption
MSSQL — T-SQL, stored procedures, complex queries
NHibernate ORM — mappings, session management, criteria API
EDI document processing (850, 856, 810, 753)
JSON/XML data transformation and mapping
Debugging and troubleshooting distributed systems
Azure DevOps, Git version control, branching, and pull request workflows
Preferred
Enterprise Resource Planning systems and their APIs (SAP Business One, D365 Business Central, Oracle NetSuite, Sage 300, Acumatica)
Warehouse Management System business processes (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory)
AWS API Gateway and Lambda
Message queues / event-driven architecture (Service Bus, SQS, RabbitMQ)
OAuth 2.0 / API key authentication patterns
Multi-tenant SaaS architectures
Carrier shipping APIs (UPS, FedEx, DHL)
Spring.NET or IoC/DI container experience
CI/CD pipeline automation
Cloud/SaaS environments
Reading and maintaining legacy code (xbase++, VB, or similar)
Postman / API testing tools proficiency
Use of AI prompts for development assistance

Mentor junior team members and contribute to team standards and best practices
Produce clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders
