Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating cross-functional planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and ensure high-quality standards throughout the application lifecycle. This role requires overseeing the development and execution of comprehensive testing strategies that align with business and functional requirements. The day also includes monitoring key performance indicators related to testing activities, managing test execution, and facilitating defect resolution to maintain the overall quality of the software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Lead efforts to continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of quality practices within the development lifecycle.
Mentor junior team members to build their skills and support their professional growth.
Drive the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to testing within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Incident Management.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance principles and software testing methodologies.
Experience in developing and implementing testing strategies across the application lifecycle.
Ability to define and track key quality metrics to evaluate testing effectiveness and product quality.
Skilled in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
Competence in defect management and resolution processes to ensure timely issue closure.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Incident Management.
This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
