About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Commercial Collections Representative within Commercial Banking Operations. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.
In this role, you will:
Manage, review and negotiate a high risk portfolio consisting of complex delinquent loans of high level collateralized accounts which require special handling and analysis
Understand company policies and procedures and execute without issue
Assist in setting performance standards, and recommend process or policy improvements to enhance customer satisfaction
Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to less experienced individuals
Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Commercial Collections support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
2+ years of collections experience
Accounting experience, accounts receivable or accounts payable
Leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to independently provide summary and recommendations on operational data
Strong telephone communication skills with the ability to influence positive customer outcomes
Experience working in roles within accounting, accounts receivable/payable
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to embrace and adapt to change
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to provide strong customer service while actively listening and responding in an appropriate manner
Sound analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Sound organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
Job Expectations:
