Expert PPSS Intelligence Tactical/Operational

Role Summary
As an Expert PPSS Intelligence Tactical/Operational, you'll play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and communicating threats that may impact ING globally.
You will analyze tactical and operational developments across geopolitical, ideological, criminal, and regional security domains and transform intelligence into actionable recommendations. Your work will directly support risk mitigation, operational planning, crisis preparedness, and decision-making across the organization.
This role combines strategic thinking with operational execution and offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact within a global organization.
About the Team
You will join ING's Global Personal & Physical Safety & Security (PPSS) community and work closely with PPSS specialists across multiple countries.
Collaborating with colleagues from security, HR, communications, and business functions, you'll contribute to a safer environment for our people and operations worldwide. You'll also build relationships with external partners including law enforcement and intelligence agencies while supporting crisis preparedness and incident response activities.
Required Skills and Experience
We're looking for someone who brings:
Proven experience in security management, preferably within financial services or another highly regulated industry
Strong knowledge of intelligence, threat assessment, and risk analysis
Experience with personal and physical safety and security programs
Understanding of security-related regulatory and compliance requirements
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations
Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities
Sound judgment and proactive problem-solving skills
Experience operating effectively in complex, multicultural environments
The ability to prioritize and drive results in fast-paced situations
Willingness to participate in on-call security response activities when required
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline
Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
