Role Description The Assistant Manager – HR will be responsible for supporting end-to-end human resources activities for the Pune District location in an on-site capacity. This full-time role involves administering HR policies, managing employee life cycle processes, maintaining accurate HR documentation, and coordinating employee benefits and payroll inputs in collaboration with relevant teams. The role will support recruitment and onboarding, assist in performance management and talent development initiatives, and contribute to employee engagement activities aligned with Britannia’s culture and values. The Assistant Manager – HR will also help ensure statutory compliance, handle routine employee queries, and partner with business stakeholders to provide timely and effective HR support.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management to oversee core people processes and support business objectives.
Candidates should possess skills in HR Policies and Personnel Management to implement guidelines, manage employee records, and maintain organizational discipline.
Candidates should possess skills in Employee Benefits to administer compensation, benefits programs, and related employee services accurately.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills to build trust with employees and managers.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Proficiency in HRIS tools and MS Office applications; familiarity with HR data reporting and analytics is an advantage.
Relevant academic background such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Prior experience in an HR generalist or HR operations role, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing, will be beneficial.
