Position description: Rabirun Vinimay Pvt. Ltd is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee the Mechanical Maintenance operations within our Utility department. This role demands a seasoned professional who can manage and optimize maintenance activities for mechanical systems, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, develop preventive maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to support the company’s infrastructure and production goals in a dynamic industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance team to ensure timely and effective maintenance of all utility-related mechanical equipment and systems.
Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance shutdowns and major repairs with minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and opportunities for reliability improvements.
Manage maintenance budgets, resource allocation, and procurement of spare parts and tools to optimize operational costs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices, new technologies, and innovative maintenance methodologies.
Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities, equipment status, and project progress to senior management.
Mentor and develop the skills of maintenance staff through training programs and performance evaluations.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations.

Required work experience
Years of experience:
10-12 years of experience in Utility Operation & maintenance of steel plants
with 3-5 years’ experience of handling project activities.
