As a Technical Program Manager at Grey Orange, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers. Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of your team
Build subject matter expertise in Agile, Scrum, Release and Program Management and stay up to date on technological developments.
Develop and manage cross-functional programs, facilitating relationships across GreyOrange to identify risks, manage dependencies and optimize resources between functional groups.
Work with Product and Engineering to define your team's roadmap and execution strategy.
Drive internal process improvements across teams, remove roadblocks, and deliver on high-impact projects with a focus on efficiency, performance, and quality .
Assess business impact, prioritize initiatives with the help of Product management and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment through project planning and strong interpersonal skills .
Develop robust engineering accountability measurements, maintaining high-quality engineering work .
Drive accountability and ownership in a fast-paced environment across a dynamic team through project planning and interpersonal skills .
Champion effective process changes to improve the overall effectiveness of the team.
Own and drive GreyMatter Release planning till deployment.
Work with the change Management team to plan and deliver major and minor releases across customers.
Help QA team in setting up QA processes to deliver quality product.
Work with QA and customer support teams to plan maintenance releases.
Minimum Qualifications
B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience
10+ years of software engineering and technical product/program management experience.
Experience delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery.
Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking and thought leadership.
Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
Organizational, coordination and multi-tasking experience
Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
Technical knowledge and/or experience in supply chain, warehouse automation, industrial hardware or robotics domain
Prior experience with Scaled Agile, SaFe and leading organizations through Agile Transformation is a plus.
