Role Description The Document Controller role at NCC Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves managing and organizing project documents, ensuring accurate filing, version control, and timely distribution of drawings, contracts, reports, and correspondence. Responsibilities include maintaining document registers, tracking approvals, archiving records, and ensuring compliance with internal standards and client requirements. The Document Controller collaborates with project teams, site staff, and external stakeholders to support smooth information flow and accessible documentation. The role also includes preparing document-related reports, monitoring documentation deadlines, and supporting audits and quality assurance processes.
Qualifications
Strong skills in document management, including handling project documentation and maintaining structured filing systems.
Experience in documentation and records management, with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and organization.
Ability to manage project documentation workflows, including version control, tracking approvals, and coordination with project teams.
Effective communication skills for interacting with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring clear, timely information sharing.
Proficiency in MS Office and document management software or electronic document control systems.
Familiarity with construction or infrastructure project environments and basic understanding of technical documents and drawings.
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with capacity to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management practices related to documentation is an advantage.
