Job Description
Sr Java backend Tech. Lead with 12+ years experience (Tech stack: Java (17), Webservices, SOAP, MQ, Spring boot, Core Java, Spring boot framework, Hibernate and JPA, REST API, SOAP services). CICD, Hand-on Knowledge of cloud architectures, AWS/GCP/Azure, Knowledge of Payments domain, Github Co-pilot, AI knowledge.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.
Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to development teams.
Design and develop microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and maintain SOAP-based web services and enterprise integrations.
Build and support messaging and event-driven architectures using MQ technologies.
Define and implement cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms.
Establish best practices for coding standards, performance optimization, security, and maintainability.
Drive DevOps and CI/CD implementation for automated build, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Mentor and coach developers on technical design, coding standards, and emerging technologies.
Leverage AI-enabled development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve engineering productivity.
Participate in solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and production support activities.
Contribute to digital transformation initiatives within the Payments domain.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline (BE/B.Tech/MCA).
Master's Degree (M.Tech/MS) is preferred.
Relevant cloud, architecture, or Java certifications are an added advantage.
