Project Role Description : Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery. Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned to business objectives.

Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous alignment of technical solutions with organizational goals, fostering collaboration among team members to deliver scalable and efficient software products. The lead actively monitors project progress, addresses challenges, and drives innovation to maintain performance and quality throughout the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals.
Mentor and support junior team members to enhance their skills and professional growth.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize development workflows and team productivity.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and best practices for custom software development.
Experience in managing and leading software engineering teams through complex project deliveries.
Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
Familiarity with risk management and compliance frameworks within software development environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering practical and innovative solutions.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
This position is based at our MDC5C - SEZ location.
A 15 years full time education is required.
