Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Shop Operations Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our CDBS (Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems) location at York, SC.

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Production Leadership: Successfully drive SQDCP performance by meeting safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives while maintaining efficient daily operations.
Team Development & Accountability: Lead, coach, and motivate hourly employees by fostering engagement, managing performance expectations, and building a positive, accountable team culture.
Operational Problem Solving: Monitor production performance in real time, quickly address downtime or bottlenecks, and collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and support teams to minimize disruptions.
Safety, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Champion a safety-first environment, ensure adherence to policies and 5S standards, and leverage production data and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and drive operational excellence.
Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
Supervisory experience preferred.
