Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly technical Service Engineer to join our field service team. This hands-on role is dedicated to supporting our clients in the nonwoven sector across West and North India. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in mounting metallic card clothing on nonwoven cards and installation of card room accessories. You will act as the technical face of ICC, maximizing machine performance and ensuring customer satisfaction on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Wire Mounting: Execute precise, on-site mounting metallic wires on nonwoven cards.
On-Site Technical Service: Travel extensively to customer plants to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve faults related to card clothing and fiber processing.
Precision Gauging: Conduct high-precision machine settings, roller alignments, and gap adjustments using feeler gauges to maximize web quality and fiber transfer.
Maintenance & Grinding: Lead and execute wire grinding, wire dressing, and regular roller maintenance routines at client manufacturing facilities.
Client Advisory: Partner with client plant managers to provide technical recommendations on wire wear analysis, wire selection, and preventative maintenance strategies.
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
Core Experience: 3–4 years of direct, practical experience handling nonwoven card wire mounting tools and technical machinery services.
Technical Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of nonwoven carding machine configurations, fiber transfer parameters, and process optimizing.
Tools Mastery: Expert proficiency with specialized wire-mounting equipment, devices, and precision measuring gauges (feeler gauges).
Mobility: Ready and willing to travel frequently across textile manufacturing hubs.
