Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manager of QA Automation to join
our dynamic team and lead our quality assurance automation e orts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, automation frameworks, and team leadership. This role involves strategizing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure the highest quality of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA automation engineers.
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
· Develop and implement a comprehensive QA automation strategy aligned with business goals.
· Evaluate and implement automation tools and frameworks.
· Establish best practices and standards for automation processes.
· Proficient in QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
· Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple automation projects simultaneously.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
· Oversee the design, development, and execution of manual and automated test scripts.
· Ensure thorough testing of software applications to meet quality standards.
· Identify, document, and track software defects to resolution.
· Implement metrics to measure the e ectiveness of QA activities.
· Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance testing efficiency.
· Provide regular updates to senior management on QA activities and project statuses.
· Prepare detailed reports on testing outcomes and quality metrics.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
· Experience in ecommerce or Retail Industry
· 14+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test automation
· 5+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within QA
· Proven experience with automation and load testing tools like Tricentis, Selenium or similar.
· Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
· Experience in API testing, ETL/ELT testing, performance testing and security testing.
· Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
· Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
· Excellent leadership and team-building capabilities.
· Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on analysis and interpretation
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
