Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to aligning platform components with project requirements, fostering effective communication among team members, and supporting the overall architecture strategy to enable efficient data management and utilization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business needs.
Assist in identifying potential improvements and optimizations within the data platform architecture.
Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on platform-related tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
Experience with data integration and transformation processes within large-scale data environments.
Strong understanding of cloud-based data platforms and their operational frameworks.
Ability to work with data modeling concepts and ensure consistency across integrated systems.
Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline data workflows and platform management.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
