Role Description The Sales Manager role at Bajaj Housing Finance Limited is a full-time, on-site position based in Tiruchirappalli. The Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new customers for home loans, loans against property, and other housing finance products, and by deepening relationships with existing customers. Day-to-day tasks include managing a sales team, setting and tracking sales targets, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and coaching to team members. The role involves developing and executing local sales strategies, identifying market opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with channel partners, developers, and corporate clients, and ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified leads. The Sales Manager collaborates with credit, operations, and customer service teams to support smooth loan processing, maintain high customer satisfaction, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales management, preferably in housing finance, banking, or NBFC sectors, with a strong track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
Solid skills in customer relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build long-term partnerships with clients and business associates.
Capability in market analysis, business development, and strategic planning to identify growth opportunities and execute effective sales initiatives.
Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills to guide and motivate a sales team toward consistent performance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local/regional languages preferred.
Sound understanding of housing finance products, loan processes, credit norms, and regulatory guidelines relevant to NBFCs.
Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and other digital platforms for reporting, tracking, and analysis.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
