Your role is pivotal in upholding Forbes Five-Star standards by anticipating guest needs, delivering exceptional and memorable experiences, and ensuring every guest feels valued, welcomed, and cared for throughout their visit.

What will I be doing?
As a Hostess at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre, you are responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and coordinating restaurant seating to ensure a seamless dining experience. Working closely with the Food & Drinks team, you will deliver personalised service, anticipate guest preferences, and uphold the highest standards of hospitality throughout every guest interaction. Specifically, you will be responsible for:
• Extend a warm and genuine welcome to all guests arriving at the outlet.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a professional and engaging manner.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and restaurant facilities.
• Manage guest enquiries and requests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
• Follow established reporting procedures and communicate operational concerns promptly.
• Maintain impeccable grooming, personal presentation, and hygiene standards in accordance with Waldorf Astoria guidelines.
• Answer telephone calls courteously and professionally, accurately recording and communicating messages where required.
• Manage restaurant reservations, ensuring guest preferences, dietary requirements, allergies, and special occasions are accurately recorded and communicated to the team.
• Coordinate closely with the restaurant team to ensure guest preferences and special requests are delivered seamlessly.
• Engage with guests throughout their dining experience, anticipating needs and creating personalised, memorable moments.
• Maintain an excellent understanding of the restaurant seating plan to optimise table allocation and guest flow.
