The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC
Your role and responsibilities:
Develops and implements equipment life cycle management procedures for optimizing reliability and cost.
Coordinates with the team to solve major technical, equipment, or facilities problems to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
Carries out maintenance tasks as required.
Defines maintenance plans for new production lines and recommends methods to improve reliability, ongoing maintenance, and safety of equipment, in collaboration with the Engineering department.
Coordinates planned and scheduled maintenance of factory equipment.
Develops and proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines to reduce both ordinary and extraordinary maintenance.
Proposes and manages the annual maintenance budget.
Monitors the costs and effectiveness of activities to optimize resources and determines actions to cost issues as necessary.
Qualifications for the role:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a large-scale electrical or industrial manufacturing operation.
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes. Planned Maintenance & Backlog
Demonstrated ability to lead and support maintenance personnel, including assisting maintenance employees with troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment restoration.
Advanced technical and engineering skills related to mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required
Proficient in the use of maintenance tools and measuring instruments, including tape measures, calipers, grinders, and other hand and power tools. Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs as required.
Effective leadership, communication, and team development capabilities.
Knowledge of applicable safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA requirements.
Experience with continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and process optimization initiatives is preferred.
