Position description: Join Jindal Ferrous Limited's Central QA - Blast Furnace department as an entry-level engineering professional dedicated to supporting quality assurance processes within the mining and metals sector. This role involves assisting in the monitoring and optimization of blast furnace operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality benchmarks. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop technical expertise in metallurgical processes, data analysis, and quality control methodologies while contributing to the continuous improvement of production efficiency and product quality in a dynamic industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance protocols specific to blast furnace operations.
Conduct routine inspections and data collection to evaluate the performance and condition of blast furnace equipment.
Support senior engineers in analyzing metallurgical data to identify process deviations and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations during furnace operations.
Maintain accurate documentation of quality control tests, inspection reports, and process parameters.
Participate in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for blast furnace quality assurance.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for management review and decision-making.
Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
